Here are some pictures from our new (old!) house! We hope to document our remodeling. We will be working on flooring, painting, etc. in preparation to move into the house, hopefully by early March.
The flooring in both kitchen and laundry room is some kind of foam-backed flocked carpeting. We have something else in mind for flooring here!

Other half of the rec room in basement. This half is carpeted and will be re-carpeted. Imagine that dark paneling painted nice and bright!

Far corner of what will be the master bedroom. See the removed panel? Behind that door is a tiny room, complete with a light and shelving. Very useful!

What we hope to be lovely hardwood lurks beneath the shag carpet…I had almost this very same carpet in my bedroom in my parents house! Wish us luck pulling carpet and removing staples…

The wood cabinetry is really quite lovely. They are solid and in great shape. We think the white countertops are marble or some type of stone anyhow!

Although only partially visible, to the right is a barn-like storage shed. The house has no garage, but nice carport which could be converted into a garage.
